WASHINGTON — Metropolitan Police are investigating a stabbing that took place early Sunday morning in the District. A person was stabbed inside their apartment on F street in Northeast.

According to police, the victim has been transported to MedStar Hospital.

There is no known cause for the attack or any suspects at this time but police are still on the scene investigating.
