Small fire forced partial evacuation at Walter Reed

WASHINGTON — A small electrical fire Wednesday morning forced the partial evacuation of Building 8 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

The fire occurred on the sixth floor of the building at 8901 Rockville Pike, according to tweets from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesman Pete Piringer.

The fire was quickly put out and no one was injured.
