Death of man suspicious after body found near Herndon

WASHINGTON — Police say the death of a man whose body was found Monday in a wooded area near Herndon, Virginia is suspicious.

Officers were called to a wooded area at Folly Lick Stream around 12:30 p.m. for reports of a body found. The body was that of a man with trauma to the upper body, according to a Fairfax County Police Department news release. Folly Lick Stream is in the 1500 block of Hiddenbrook Drive.

A medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of the death.

No identification has been made.

Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
