Gaithersburg man with dementia missing

WASHINGTON — A Gaithersburg, Maryland, man who has dementia is missing, and police are asking for your help to find him.

Harmohinder Bakshi, 67, of Quince Valley Court was last seen around 6:45 p.m. Monday at his home.

Police say they believe he is on foot, and was last seen wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, blue pants, and brown sandals.

He is described as Indian, 5-foot-11 and about 200 pounds. He is balding with graying hair.

Police say he is known to visit businesses and shops in the Kentlands area.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 301-279-8000. Callers may remain anonymous.
