WASHINGTON — Even if you’ve never seen Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes,” you’ve seen traces of its pop culture legacy.

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett just covered the title song on their Grammy-winning duet album.

Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald have performed famous covers of “I Get a Kick Out of You.”

And Steven Spielberg used the show to open “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” (1984), presenting a musical number performed by his now wife, Kate Capshaw.

Now is your chance to catch the Cole Porter classic at the Warner Theatre for a two-day engagement on Wednesday, Feb. 25 and Thursday, Feb. 26.

It’s part of a national tour following the show’s Tony win for Best Musical Revival in 2011, breathing new life into a play that opened on Broadway with Ethel Merman in 1934.

This time, Emma Stratton plays the legendary lead, Reno Sweeney, a nightclub singer who gets caught in a love triangle while performing on an ocean liner from New York to London.
