WTOP news personalities cycle for breast cancer

WASHINGTON — D.C. newswomen are coming together to cycle and dance their way to breast cancer awareness.

On Thursday, WTOP’s Hillary Howard along with Lauryn Ricketts and other notable D.C. newswomen, will gather at SoulCycle Bethesda for a 45-minute full-body bike workout.

Tickets are sold out for the 7:30 p.m. event, but anyone interested in donating can find more information by clicking here.

Graduation goes online as thousands of students watch celebrity commencement speakers at home

From individual universities and colleges bringing celebrity graduation speakers to their students over the internet due to the coronavirus pandemic, to major companies like Chase and Facebook organizing virtual graduation celebrations, thousands of members of the Class of 2020 turned to their screens to kick of commencement season.
