Victim in Landover pedestrian collision identified

WASHINGTON — Police have identified the woman killed Friday in a pedestrian accident in Landover,  Maryland as  53-year-old Adjoko Lassey of Landover.

She was struck while crossing Landover Road near Matthew Henson Avenue around 6 a.m. Jan. 23, according to Prince George’s County police.

Police say she was not in the crosswalk at the time, and the driver remained on the scene.
