Ending the year with a deal valued at $184 million, VSE Corp will acquire Killick Aerospace Group’s Prime Turbines, CT Aerospace, Kansas Aviation and Air Parts and Supply Co. NCI will acquire Computech for an estimated $55.8. million.

Cardin pledges to fight for Chesapeake Bay funding

WASHINGTON — Elected officials in Maryland are banding together to fight to protect funding the helps pay for the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay. “That would be horrible,” said Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin of the Trump administration’s proposal to eliminate $73 million that the Environmental Protection Agency spends on the Chesapeake Bay program, designed to restore the health of the nation's largest estuary.
