Image of Asia: Hanji lanterns light up Seoul

In this photo by Lee Jin-man, colorful fish-shaped lanterns are lit on the eve of the Seoul Lantern Festival along Cheonggye stream in the South Korean capital. Several handmade paper, or hanji, lanterns are on display celebrating Korean cultural heritage. Various cities, artists and corporations are participating in the two-week festival, showing art exhibits and lanterns that look like fish, cultural icons and cartoon characters.
