FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets defensive linemen Muhammad Wilkerson and Sheldon Richardson and offensive tackle Breno Giacomini all sat out practice Wednesday with illnesses.

Coach Rex Ryan says all three players are dealing with different ailments, but should be fine to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Quarterback Geno Smith threw 60 passes during practice and should be available to back up starter Michael Vick after sitting out the game at Kansas City with a sore right shoulder.

Cornerback Darrin Walls did not practice with a calf injury that kept him out of the Jets game against the Chiefs, and Ryan isn’t optimistic about him playing this weekend.

Wide receiver Percy Harvin was limited after scraping the back of a heel during drills, but says it’s not an issue.
