Bethesda, Baltimore rate high for veteran job prospects

Baltimore and Bethesda provide good career prospects for military veterans looking to transition to a private sector or public agency job, according to a report from insurance company USAA.

USAA and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes program commissioned the list based on key job market indicators like veteran wage growth, certification and license transfer, the availability of jobs in top industries employing vets and unemployment rates.

It also measured the availability of military skills jobs and government jobs.
