ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) — A key player in what prosecutors say was the biggest bid-rigging scheme in U.S. contracting history has been sentenced to four years in prison.

In Seon Lim of Fairfax Station, Virginia was sentenced Friday in federal court. He pleaded guilty in July to bribery and wire fraud charges.

Prosecutors say Lim took $490,000 in bribes when he worked as a contracting official for the U.S. Department of the Army in Seoul, South Korea, and as a product director at Fort Belvoir. They say he used his position to solicit gifts and payments in return for steering work to contractors.

Prosecutors say Lim is among 18 people and a corporation convicted as part of a bid-rigging scheme that stole more than $30 million in government money through inflated and fictitious invoices.
