DINWIDDIE, Va. (AP) — Police say a woman died after she was hit by a train in Dinwiddie County.

WRIC-TV (http://bit.ly/1sL2vqk ) reports that police identified the victim as 28-year-old Rebecca Lundie.

Police say a westbound Norfolk and Southern train hit Lundie around 8 p.m. Monday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
