5 students, driver hurt in Md. school bus crash

WALKERSVILLE, Md. (AP) — The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says they’re not filing charges in a school bus crash in Walkersville that sent five students and a driver to the hospital with minor injuries.

Deputy First Class Amanda Hatcher said Wednesday that a school bus was stopped at a stop sign when another school bus ran into it as they left Walkersville High School on Tuesday.

Hatcher says she doesn’t know how fast the second bus was going.

Hatcher says investigators have concluded charges are not warranted in the accident.
