Youth gang violence town hall set for Richmond

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) — U.S. Rep. Bobby Scott will host a youth gang violence prevention town hall in Richmond.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday night at the Virginia General Assembly Building.

Scott’s office says the event will be attended by community leaders as well as Georgia Juvenile Court Judge Steven Teske.

Teske is visiting Richmond Tuesday and Wednesday to work with juvenile justice professionals and the Juvenile Justice Collaborative on how the Clayton County, Georgia “Systems of Care” approach could work in Richmond.
