Grain higher, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery rose 6.75 cents to $4.0525 a bushel; Dec corn was 12 cents higher at 3.46 a bushel; Dec oats gained 2 cents to $3.4475 a bushel; while Nov soybeans advanced 22.75 cents to $9.4525 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle rose 1.40 cents to $1.6670 a pound; Nov feeder cattle was .95 cent higher at $2.4015 a pound; while Dec lean hogs gained .22 cent to $.9462 a pound.
