Property owner Federal Realty is looking to add another retail space to its Shops at Wildwood along Old Georgetown Road.

The Rockville-based developer filed for a site plan amendment with the Planning Department in order to add a 4,700-square-foot addition to the south end of the existing shopping center structure.

The addition would be built next to the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, now the southernmost shop along the main Wildwood building.

The shopping center dates back to 1958. The addition would mean the moving around of some parking spaces and the net addition of three spaces, according to Federal Realty’s filing.
