RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Henrico County police say a skunk that chased a dog in a backyard pen was rabid.
Police said in a news release the skunk’s remains were submitted to a state lab for testing and the results were positive for rabies.
No other animals or people were exposed to the skunk, which had entered the pen on Sunday.
