U.Va. to hold panel discussion on Ebola outbreak

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — The University of Virginia will hold a panel discussion on the challenges posed by the Ebola outbreak.

The discussion is scheduled for Tuesday at the U.Va. School of Medicine.

Among the panelists are U.Va. medical professor Frederick G. Hayden and Christiana Koisey Hena, a front-line Ebola caregiver and founder of Healthy Women, Healthy Liberia.

The program is free and open to the public.

The World Health Organization estimates the Ebola outbreak in west Africa has killed more than 3,400 people.
