Grain mostly higher, beef higher and pork lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery rose 14.75 cents to $5.0625 a bushel; Dec corn was 8 cents higher at 3.405 a bushel; Dec oats rose .75 cent to $3.5125 a bushel; while Nov soybeans fell 1.50 cents to $9.4075 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle rose 1.55 cents to $1.6785 a pound; Nov feeder cattle was 2.15 cents higher at $2.4242 a pound; while Dec lean hogs were 1.52 cents lower to $.9435 a pound.
