Va. Rep. Rigell to host Chesapeake Bay discussion

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) — U.S. Rep. Scott Rigell is hosting a panel discussion in Virginia Beach on Chesapeake Bay restoration issues.

The State of the Chesapeake Bay Discussion is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club.

Panel members include Virginia Secretary of Natural Resources Molly Ward, Chesapeake Bay Foundation president Will Baker, Cherrystone Aqua-Farms president Chad Ballard and Mark W. Luckenbach, professor and associate dean of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science.

Rigell’s office says the event is free and open to the public.
