HALETHORPE, Md. (AP) — Authorities in Baltimore County say a man has died after a motorcycle crash in Halethorpe.

Authorities say it happened Sunday evening in the 4800 block of Benson Avenue in Halethorpe. Authorities say the driver of the motorcycle, 53-year-old Timothy Wayne Harris, left the roadway and traveled into a wooded area. He was taken to a hospital but died.

The accident remains under investigation. Authorities did not say what may have caused Harris to leave the roadway.
