Grain higher, beef mixed and pork higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery rose 5.75 cents to $4.915 a bushel; Dec corn was 9.25 cents higher at 3.325 a bushel; Dec oats rose 8.25 cents to $3.505 a bushel; while Nov soybeans surged 30 cents to $9.4225 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle rose .43 cent to $1.6630 a pound; Nov feeder cattle was .70 cent lower at $2.4027 a pound; while Dec lean hogs were 2.85 cents higher to $.9587 a pound.
