Red Wings beat Bruins 4-3 in shootout

BOSTON (AP) — Andrej Nestrasil and Gustav Nyquist scored in a shootout to give the Detroit Red Wings a 4-3 exhibition victory over the Boston Bruins on Saturday night.

Nestrasil, Xavier Ouellet and Riley Sheahan scored in regulation for Detroit and Petr Mrazek made 20 saves. The Red Wings finished the preseason 4-3-1.

Patrice Bergeron had three goals for Boston. He tied it at 3 on a power play midway through the third.

Tuukka Rask stopped 26 shots for Boston. The Bruins finished the preseason 3-2-2.
