WASHINGTON (AP) — District of Columbia police say a 35-year-old man has been fatally stabbed in Columbia Heights.

Detectives are investigating the homicide that occurred Friday evening on 14th Street in northwest Washington.

The body of Kenneth Young Jr. of Washington was found about 5:30 p.m. in front of a furniture store. Police say Young was taken to a hospital but later died. No additional details were released.
