3 Md. women charged with stealing from Del. mall

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP) — Delaware State Police say three Baltimore women have been charged with stealing nearly $6,000 in merchandise from an outlet mall in Rehoboth Beach.

State Police say they were called Friday around 5 p.m. to the Tanger Outlets for a report of shoplifting.

Troopers who responded to the Osh Kosh store were told three women were believed to have shoplifted from the store and were being followed by a store employee. Troopers arrested the three women and searched their vehicle, where police say they found clothing stolen from 18 different stores at the complex.

Police say 27-year-old Lamia Pretlow, 18-year-old Tre’Shawna Laboard and 25-year-old Pachena Whitney were each charged with shoplifting and other charges. Pretlow and Laboard did not appear to have listed telephone numbers. Whitney declined comment when reached Sunday.
