Suns sign Barron, Jackson, Prather, Wilson

PHOENIX (AP) — The Phoenix Suns signed center Earl Barron and rookies Joe Jackson, Casey Prather and Jamil Wilson on Friday, giving them 18 players on the roster.

The 33-year-old Barron played 12 games for the Suns in 2010-11 and last appeared in the NBA with New York in 2012-13. He has averaged 4.9 points and 3.7 rebounds in 124 games in seven seasons with Miami, New York, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Portland, Golden State and Washington.

Jackson, a guard, averaged 14.1 points and 4.5 assists last season at Memphis. Prather, a guard-forward, averaged 13.8 points and 5.0 rebounds last season at Florida. Wilson, a forward, averaged 11.7 points and 5.9 rebounds last season at Marquette.
