Reimer makes 34 saves, Maple Leafs beat Sabres 6-4

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — James Reimer made 34 saves and Tyler Bozak, Roman Polak and Josh Leivo each had a goal and two assists in the Toronto Maple Leafs’ 6-4 exhibition victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Friday night.

Dion Phaneuf, Leo Komarov and David Clarkson also scored for Toronto (3-1-1).

Chris Stewart scored twice for Buffalo (1-2-0), and Cody McCormick added a goal.

Toronto defenseman Henrik Tallinder had to be helped off the ice after being shoved face-first into the boards by Mike Weber.
