Man who robbed 7 convenience stores sentenced

BALTIMORE (AP) — A man who robbed seven Baltimore convenience stores at gunpoint during an eight-day crime spree has been sentenced to nine years in prison.

Twenty-four-year-old Monte Glascoe of Baltimore was also ordered to pay more than $2,600 in restitution at sentencing Thursday in federal court.

According to his plea agreement, Glascoe and others robbed the 7-Eleven stores between July 18 and July 26, 2013. Prosecutors say in each crime, the robbers pointed a gun at victims and stole money from cash registers and cigarettes.
