Lockdowns at two St. Mary’s Co. high schools lifted

WASHINGTON – The lockdowns at both Leonardtown and Great Mills high schools have been lifted.

WASHINGTON — Another high school in St. Mary’s County has been locked down Thursday after it received a bomb threat.

St. Mary’s police were called to Leonardtown High School for the bomb threat after they had finished searching Great Mills High School.

Great Mills was locked down this morning after someone called police communications and made a threat regarding the school.

Police say everything was under control and there were no reports of violence or injuries.

Leonardtown remains on lockdown while the lockdown at Great Mills has been lifted.
