KENSINGTON, Md. (AP) — Montgomery County police detectives say an 18-year-old woman missing since Friday has been found safe.

Shantol Ramela Anderson had last been seen leaving her home in Kensington and getting into a car.

Anderson’s family first reported her missing on Monday. It’s unclear why they didn’t report her absence sooner.

Police say Anderson was found Wednesday safe and unharmed. They didn’t release any other details.
