Today, Tues., Sept. 16, 2014, is a contest hit day for judging TELEVISION and RADIO news and weathercasts in The Virginias Associated Press Broadcasters contest for 2014.

Stations planning to enter the contest should save copies of their material today. You can also save material using the Scrapbooks feature on the online contest website at www.betterbnc.com.

This is the third contest hit day of five for 2014. The other dates were March 28 and July 21.
