Police to resume search for missing UVa student

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Police expect to resume the search for a University of Virginia student who’s been missing since Saturday.

Charlottesville police Lt. Ronnie Roberts says authorities searched a large area east of the university Monday and found no trace of 18-year-old Hannah Elizabeth Graham. He said the search would resume Tuesday, although he was unable to provide details.

University President Teresa A. Sullivan issued a statement saying the community is “united in our deep concern” for the Fairfax County freshman.

According to university officials, Graham is 5-foot-11 with blue eyes, light brown hair and freckles. Police released surveillance photos showing Graham wearing black slacks and a gold and black crop top.

Anyone with information on Graham’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Charlottesville Police Department.
