Rep. Ruppersberger to tour cybersecurity companies

BALTIMORE (AP) — Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger will be touring Baltimore cybersecurity businesses.

Ruppersberger, a Maryland Democrat, will tour Maddrix on Monday. It’s one of only seven companies nationwide that is accredited by the National Security Agency to respond to cyber attacks on federal databases.

Ruppersberger also is scheduled to visit ZeroFOX, a company that identifies and prevents social media-based cyber attacks.

The congressman also plans to visit RedOwl Analytics, which has developed a product designed to detect suspicious digital behavior.
