No surprises among Seattle or Green Bay inactives

SEATTLE (AP) — Bruce Irvin and Jeremy Lane were active for the Seattle Seahawks as was Green Bay linebacker Brad Jones after all three were listed as probable for the season opener.

There were no surprises among the inactives for either team ahead of Thursday’s opener. The only healthy scratches for Seattle were wide receivers Phil Bates and Kevin Norwood, and defensive end Greg Scruggs. Cornerback Tharold Simon, linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis, tight end Cooper Helfet and running back Christine Michael had already been ruled out.

Green Bay had already ruled out tight end Brandon Bostick and cornerback Demetri Goodson. Also inactive were linebacker Carl Bradford, defensive tackle Mike Pennel, wide receiver Jeff Janis, linebacker Jayrone Elliott and quarterback Scott Tolzien.
