Titans agree to terms with LB Quentin Groves

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with linebacker Quentin Groves as they continue tinkering with the roster.

The Titans announced the deal Monday.

The 6-foot-3, 265-pound Groves is a six-year veteran who spent last season with Cleveland under Ray Horton, now the Titans’ defensive coordinator. Groves has eight sacks over 84 games, including six over the last two seasons. Drafted by Jacksonville in the second round in 2008 out of Auburn, Groves also has played for Oakland and Arizona.

The Titans waived linebacker Patrick Bailey to make roster space. They also signed cornerback Ri’Shard Anderson, linebacker Dontay Moch and tight end Orson Charles to the practice squad. Charles played 29 games with Cincinnati, while Moch has played in five games with Cincinnati and Arizona.
