Md. man charged in former girlfriend’s slaying

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — A Greenbelt man has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of his former girlfriend in Landover.

Prince George’s County police say 39-year-old Tor Chiumba Campbell was arrested on Tuesday, a day after the slaying of Shauntelle Lewis.

Police say Campbell and Lewis had recently been involved in a romantic relationship. He’s been charged with first-degree murder and related offenses and is being held without bond. Police say the murder weapon has been recovered.
