Frederick man arrested for eluding police

WASHINGTON — A Frederick, Maryland man has been arrested and charged with resisting arrest, driving without a license, driving with suspended registration and eluding a uniformed officer on Saturday.

During a traffic stop, at the corner of W Patrick Street and Linden Avenue in Frederick city, Alonso Joseph Brazzley was slow to stop and drove into a Comfort Inn Hotel parking lot.

Once he stopped, Brazzley exited the vehicle and ran across several lanes of traffic to the Motel 6.

During the stop, police determined that Brazzley, 40, drove the motor vehicle without a driver’s license and on suspended registration.

He was arrested and taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
