Mars strikes sponsor deals with JGR, NASCAR

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (AP) — Mars has signed multi-year sponsorship deals with both Joe Gibbs Racing and NASCAR.

The agreement announced Wednesday keeps Mars on the No. 18 Toyota driven by Kyle Busch. The No. 18 has been to Victory Lane 20 time since 2008 with Mars as the primary paint scheme in the Sprint Cup series.

Mars’ deal with NASCAR makes it the official chocolate of the sport.

Joe Gibbs says Mars has been an “important partner” to his organization for the last six years.
