WASHINGTON — The continued 11th Street Bridge project will lead to a road closure this weekend.

The District Department of Transportation says in a statement that the westbound I- 695 (Southeast/Southwest Freeway) exit ramp to M Street Southeast/Navy Yard will be closed from 7 a.m. on Saturday to 10 p.m. on Sunday for the continued demolition of the old 11th Street Inbound Flyover Bridge.

DDOT says that there will be detours posted for drivers on the Anacostia Freeway who want to get to M Street Southeast and the Navy Yard.
