Officials on Wednesday celebrated the renovation of the building that once housed Columbus School #99. The building on East North Avenue is now the now the Columbus School Apartments and houses 50 one- and two-bedroom units for qualified city residents.

The building’s developer says the renovations took 16 months to complete and cost $13 million. The building is open to families with incomes of 60 percent or less of the median income for Baltimore.
