Michigan State’s Robinson granted release

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan State says cornerback Ezra Robinson has requested and received a release from his scholarship.

Robinson played 12 games last season as a redshirt freshman, appearing mostly on special teams. He recovered a fumble in a win over Youngstown State in September.

Robinson was a four-year starter at Booker High School in Sarasota, Florida.
