LEEDS, England (AP) — Prince William will attend the Tour de France’s first stage starting in Leeds on Saturday with his wife Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and his brother Prince Harry.

Tour organizers said on Friday that Kate will award to the stage winner the first yellow jersey of the three-week race.

The first leg takes riders from Leeds to Harrogate.

The race last visited Britain in 2007.
