Posey breaks up no-hit bid by Reds’ Bailey in 7th

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Buster Posey singled with two outs in the seventh inning, breaking up the no-hit bid by Homer Bailey of the Cincinnati Reds.

Posey lined a clean single to right-center field for the San Francisco Giants on Sunday.

Bailey threw no-hitters in each of the last two seasons. He did it last July 2 against the Giants.

The Reds lead 1-0.
