Nine hurt in New Orleans shooting

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — New Orleans Police say nine people have been injured during a shooting on Bourbon Street.

Police spokesman Frank Robertson says in a statement that the incident happened about 2:45 a.m. He says the unidentified victims were taken to a hospital, where seven were listed in stable condition and one was listed in critical condition. Another victim’s condition was not available.

An investigation is ongoing.

No further details were released.
