Pedestrian killed by car in Westminster, Md.

WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) — Maryland State Police are trying to determine who was at fault in the death of a pedestrian killed by a car in Westminster.

Police say 31-year-old Justin Sank of Manchester died Sunday at Shock Trauma in Baltimore. He was flown there after he was struck on Route 140 at Malcolm Drive at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Troopers say Sank was crossing the darkened highway near a shopping center. He wasn’t in a pedestrian crosswalk.

Investigators say the driver stayed at the scene.
