Police investigating fatal shooting in Alexandria

WASHINGTON — The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred this past Thursday.

On June 19, Julio Caesar Urrutia-Erazo was shot after a verbal altercation between two groups of people. He died Saturday. Urrutia-Erazo was 27.

The suspect is described as a white Hispanic man between 18 and 30 years old. He’s 5’8″ with a muscular build, a shaved head and several tattoos on his arms. It is unclear what the suspect wore during the shooting, according to police.
