Suspects sought in D.C. homicide, aggravated assault

WASHINGTON — D.C. police officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects in a robbery and aggravated assault in Southeast, in which a 60-year-old man was killed, according to a press release.

The incident occurred Tuesday in the 400 block of 8th Street. Carlton Coltrane, of Southeast, was pronounced dead on Friday due to blunt force trauma.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727- 9099. Anonymous tips can be submitted to the department’s text tip line at 50411.
