WASHINGTON — Road work will close three lanes on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway starting Wednesday night, for the next two evenings.

Starting at 10 p.m. the Maryland State Highway Administration will close three left lanes of Interstate 495 between Md. Route 185/Connecticut Avenue/Exit 33 and Md. Route 97/Georgia Avenue/Exit 31.

Crews will work on repairs on the Beltway bridge over Kensington Avenue. They are cutting and pouring new concrete.

Lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. each day the work is in progress. Md. Route 410 is an alternate route.
