A-SPAN provides life-sustaining services for Arlington’s street homeless population. Our mission is to secure permanent housing for one of Arlington’s most vulnerable populations through outreach and partnerships built on trust and respect. In addition to providing meals and supplies on the street every day, A-SPAN operates the Arlington County Emergency Winter Shelter and will soon operate a year-round Homeless Services Center for Arlington County. A-SPAN currently houses 34 formerly chronically homeless adults and is a partner in the “100 Homes for 100 Homeless Arlingtonians” campaign.
